Optical Coherence Tomography

LyChron has St. Jude's Ilumien, a product that provides Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) as well as Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) capability all in one system. With OCT, accurate information can be collected around a treatment location or site of interest. This technology provides engineers and scientists with new ways of assessing the success and impact of novel therapies and devices at LyChron. The system can produce vascular measurements and highlight malapposed struts as well as create CD or DVD data in DICOM format for presentation or review back at the office. Axial Resolution (15 um) for detailed analysis at the stent strut level
Ability to measure intravascular pressure
Ability to calculate FFR across a device or stenosis
